Fees and Rebate

Different psychologists in our practice charge different rates depending on their area of practice, qualifications and experience. We also support several government programs which are billed at different rates, such as Workcover, TAC, Victim of Crime. Please contact our support team to find out the best option for you.

A referral from your GP is not a requirement. However, if you wish to obtain a rebate under the Medicare Benefit Scheme, you are required to obtain a Mental Healthcare Plan (MHCP) from your GP before attending your first appointment. If you have obtained a MHCP, you might be able to claim $96.65 each consultation, and you may be eligible for up to 10 sessions (per calendar year) with our psychologists.

If you have Private Health Insurance, please check with your policy prior to your engagement to check your eligibility and limit. Psychology Partners Centre has no control over your eligibility to receive rebates or health insurance andis not involved with the process of obtaining a treatment plan.

Cancellation Policy

Late cancellation, late reschedule and missed appointments prevent clients on our waitlist accessing care and financial uncertainty for your psychologist.

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 business hours’ notice, you will be charged 50% of the session fee.

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 business hours’ notice, or if you do not attend your appointment at all (a no-show), the full session fee will be charged.

Please note that cancellation fees are not eligible for reimbursement through Medicare or private health insurance.

Cancellation fees are payable at the time of cancellation or will be directly charged to the encrypted credit card account details stored, or invoiced. Please note, no future appointments can be scheduled if there is an outstanding account.
